NEWS/ Kylie Jenner & Tyga's Rocky Romance: A Timeline of What the Heck Just Happened

Young love can be so bittersweet.
Considering the the name-brand recognition, the posh Calabasas mansion she recently bought and the garage full of luxury cars, it's easy to forget sometimes that Kylie Jenner is only 18. And Tyga, at 26...
That's like 14 in boy years!
So it comes as zero surprise that Kylie and Tyga just spent the last week acting out the lyrics to Katy Perry's "Hot n Cold." One day they're devotedly together, the next they're so over—and back again. They started the weekend on the outs and, barely 48 hours later, they were by all indicators totally back on.
Their brief spat was made all the more dramatic because it coincided with Tyga's birthday, making it into even more of a what-could-have-possibly-happened conundrum.
With the relationship status of all of our favorite celebs liable to change at a moment's notice, here's an in-depth look of just what the heck occurred between Kylie and Tyga over the last couple weeks:
Nov. 6: The longtime dear friends, who went public with their romance in August when Tyga gifted Kylie with a Ferrari for her birthday (call it her Elite 18), attended family matriarch Kris Jenner's Great Gatsby-themed 60th birthday bash together. They dressed to the nines and puckered up for a sweet kiss in the requisite photo booth.

Nov. 16: Serious business! A source told us that Tyga, who's dad to 3-year-old sonKing with ex Blac Chyna, wants to marry Kylie "eventually," once she's "a bit older."
The insider added: "Tyga and Kylie are in a really great place in their relationship. They are really in love. Tyga would do anything for Kylie."
Nov. 17: Kylie touches down in Australia with sister Kendall Jenner to launch their Kendall + Kylie Collection for Forever New at a Sydney department store. Then it's off to Melbourne for more face time with some adoring fans.
Nov. 18: Kylie posts a Snapchat of herself lip-syncing to Drake protégée Bryson Tiller's "Been That Way," which includes the lyrics: "She don't never want to see us go through round two / Cut her off that's what I'm doing now, you / Told me I should go out and do my thing / Damn right I do my thing."
Nov. 19: Kylie returns from Australia. Tyga hits the studio on what happens to be his 26th birthday, notable for the complete lack of acknowledgment on social media from Kylie. And we were dreaming up gift ideas and everything...
Tyga celebrates at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood for dinner with pals and then the party moves to 1OAK to close out the night without any Kardashians or Jenners making an appearance.
Nov. 20: All of a sudden, they're "on a break," as of the day before.
Did the idea of getting married "eventually" freak Kylie out? Did Tyga do something? Did she do something? What happened?!
"Things got messy" over the past week, a source told E! News. Despite all the baggage from Tyga's past that Kylie's had to put up with over the past year, apparently Tyga was starting to get suspicious of Kylie's close relationship withJaden Smith—a dear friend who was in her life for ages before she started hanging out with Tyga.
TMZ was hearing it was "something Tyga did," and whatever the cause of the rift, it was enough for Kylie to at least publicly ignore Tyga's birthday—which, in their world, is a major slight.

Nov. 20, later that night: It's Kylie's turn at The Nice Guy, where she appears to enjoy herself with Justin Bieber, A$AP Rocky and some other friends. Then she made a stop at Hyde and headed back home. The source also told us that day, "Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."
Nov. 21: Kylie shares a Snapchat that appears to be of her and Tyga lounging closely together, with the meme text, "Everyone needs to chill."
OK, so someone doesn't seem too concerned about her roller-coaster relationship status. "This relationship is fluid. It's not a surprise seeing them together so soon," our insider observed.
Nov. 21, later that night: While Kylie is having a "#Friendsgiving" at home, with turkey and everything, Tyga attends Sean "Diddy" Combs' birthday party, as does Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall and Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble. They weren't spotted interacting and there was no word of any skirmishes.
Nov. 22: Kylie hits the red carpet at the 2015 American Music Awards in a revealing black leather cutout dress.
Nov. 22, later that night: Tyga joins Kylie at Scooter Braun's AMAs after-party. An eyewitness had them holding hands and staying close all night.

X17 catches up with them and asks Kylie whether she and Tyga are getting married, to which she deadpans, "Yes." (Translation: Could that question be more dumb.)
Nov. 23: Back on! We're hearing that neither of them wanted to be apart and, whatever triggered the break, they're trying to get past it.
"This is not the first time, or the last, that Kylie and Tyga will break up to make up," the source said.
So there you have it. There is nothing as emotionally exhausting as trying to keep up with a young celebrity couple. May Kylie and Tyga make no more sudden moves this holiday season.

They Found Love in a Hopeless Place: Syria's War-Torn Kobani

Fian Ayub looked like she'd stepped out of the pages of a glossy Western bridal magazine — save for the rubble strewn behind her.
The 22-year-old's white dress had rows of pearls across its sweetheart neckline and encircling the waist, where layers of tulle gathered to give a ballgown finish. Her updo and make-up, too, were flawless — it wasn't easy pulling the look together in war-torn Kobani, Syria.

Posing for pictures on their wedding day, Ayub and her groom Radwan Bizar's big smiles gave no indication of the destruction and despair their city had sufferedunder ISIS. The bombed-out buildings were all that gave it away.
"No matter how beautiful the world cities and countries are, for me the country and city I was born and brought up in ... is the most beautiful place," Ayub explained of her decision to get married against such a stark backdrop. "Despite the devastation, destruction, war and terrorism … true happiness is only in your homeland."
She met Bizar — a 30-year-old journalist — when he came to do a story about the women's empowerment center where she worked in Kobani in September. Both had fled Kobani when ISIS seized control, waiting out the siege in Turkey before returning.

And on Oct. 23, just a month after meeting, they took their vows — surrounded by family, friends and colleagues. Photographers snapped wedding photos as the Bizar promenaded with his bride, who clutched the a perfect white bouquet.
"We always refused even to think about getting married in Turkey … To get married in your country is a sense of dignity and pride," according to Bizar.
He said their decision to hold the wedding in war-torn Kobani was intended to demonstrate their resolve against injustice and terrorism.
"We are the people who love life , who love to live despite all the destruction and devastation," Bizar told NBC News. "We're not afraid of terrorism and ISIS. We decided to get married here and we will stay here. We're not leaving."

U.S. Army Apache Helicopter Crashes in South Korea Killing Two: Officials

Two pilots were killed when their U.S. Army Apache helicopter crashed in South Korea on Monday, officials said.
The AH-64 Apache came down 50 miles east of Camp Humphreys, an American military base in the city of Pyeongtaek, the U.S. Army in South Korea said in an emailed statement to NBC News.

The cause of the crash near Wonju was not immediately clear. The identities of the pilots, who were the only people aboard, were being withheld until their families were informed.
According to South Korean news agency Yonhap, authorities there believe the chopper may have hit high voltage power lines or a "steel tower," perhaps referring to an electricity pylon. A power line was tangled up among the wreckage and the top part of the tower was damaged, the news agency reported.
"We offer our heartfelt prayers and condolences to the families of the soldiers involved in this tragic incident," said Lt. Col. Mark Gillespie, the deputy commander of 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade. "Our first priority is to provide their families with the support they need during this difficult time."
About 28,500 U.S. troops are stationed in South Korea, according to Reuters.
Meanwhile on Monday, South Korea's military conducted artillery live-fire drills on islands near a disputed maritime border with North Korea, ignoring Pyongyang's threat to fire back if any of the shells landed in its waters.

Mimiko’s defence of N7bn loan request lame, witless – Boroffice

Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Prof. Ajayi Boroffice, has described as lame and witless the defence of Governor Olusegun Mimiko-led  Ondo State Government, over the N7 billion loan request from Zenith Bank PLC.
Sen. Boroffice
Sen. Boroffice
In a statement by his media office, and signed by Kayode Adeniyi, Boroffice said it was amateurish and awkward that the Governor Olusegun Mimiko-led administration lowered the debate on ‎the N7 billion bank loan to the argument that since some states had borrowed, why should Ondo State not borrow.
The statement read: “It is amateurish and awkward that the Governor Olusegun Mimiko-led administration has lowered the debate on ‎the N7 billion bank loan to crass politics and puerile argument; that since some states have borrowed, why should Ondo State not borrow? Is the government saying it requested for N7 billion loan from Zenith Bank on the ground that World Bank has granted credit facilities to Lagos and Edo States. The witless argument from the government further shows there exist no developmental plan for which the loan was sought after.
“Really, ‎there is nothing hypocritical or ignorant about a warning inspired by patriotism against mortgaging the future of our children under the guise of seeking loan to fund infrastructural deficit. However, It is rather preposterous that a government renowned for limitless deceit thinks it can preach on honesty.
“On the issue of Lagos and Edo States: it is quite clear that while World Bank granted Lagos and Edo States long-term, low interest rate development policy operation credit facilities, our dear Ondo State is seeking N7 billion loan at an unduly high and exorbitant interest rate from a commercial bank.
“It is on record that World Bank has strict borrowing conditions with strong emphasis on transparency, accountability, strong financial management information system for budget management, high financial accountability through timely audits and publication of state government’s audited financial accounts. In truth, same conditions cannot be said of the controversial N7bn loan request. When last did the Mimiko-led administration audit government spendings and present its audited financial accounts to the people of Ondo State for public scrutiny? Not once in 7 years.
“The undoing of the Mimiko-led administration is that it is exhibiting severe disillusionment as well as demonstrating retiring soporific with its indolent belief that no developmental project could be executed without recourse to borrowing. Senator Boroffice does not agree with this absurdity.
“Furthermore, the issue of N7 billion is coming at the same time the Mimiko-led administration declared that paucity of funds is delaying local government polls after feeding fat on local government allocations for about 7 years. Is it true that the N7 billion loan is designed to enhance the rigging machinery of the sinking PDP in Ondo State?
“Senator Ajayi Boroffice remains committed to the genuine development of Ondo State and her people. It is the administration that has thrown Ondo State into senseless debt of about N77 billion, yet untiring, and seeking to borrow more that is consciously working ‎to ground Ondo State for the next administration. ‎The Mimiko-led administration should address the people of Ondo State on the debt profile of Ondo State ‎and leave the people to figure out their true enemy.
“On reiterating note, although government is continuum, the incoming APC government in Ondo State will not be committed to the repayment plan of any dubious loan granted by Zenith Bank PLC or any other commercial bank at the detriment of the people of Ondo State,” added Boroffice.

Nabbed! 21 Students Arrested For Gay Sex

Police in Delta state have reported the arrest of twenty-one students allegedly involved in gay activities within the state.
According to The Punch, the 21 students were reportedly arrested at two unnamed state-owned polytechnics in Asaba.
There is speculation that the students engaged in same sex activities for financial benefits.

Celestina Kalu, a spokesperson for the state police, confirmed the arrests and said detectives had acted on a tip-off.
“We had it on good authority that the male students allegedly engaged in anal sex,’she told The Punch.
“The suspects, upon interrogation, made useful statements to the police while investigations are ongoing,” Kalu said.
In May, another set of  21 young men were apprehended in Ibadan, Oyo state,  for allegedly being in a ‘gay cult.’
The young men who were caught reportedly had 122 condoms between them.
Police said when they raided the suspects’ house, they were holding an ‘initiation’ ceremony into their ‘evil’ group.
Following pressure by some human rights groups the young men were released on bail.
In Nigeria, gay sex is a crime, punishable by up to 14 years imprisonment in non-Sharia states, and death by stoning in Sharia states.
